What cookies and similar technologies GridBulk uses and why

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device through your browser. They are widely used to keep websites working, remember preferences, and understand how a site is used. Similar technologies include local storage and web beacons.

We use the categories of cookies and similar technologies described below. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.

Strictly Necessary

These cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off:

  • Authentication session cookies (better-auth.*) — keep you signed in after you log in and protect forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). They are deleted when you sign out or when the session ends.
  • Cloudflare security cookies (__cf_bm and similar) — set by our hosting/CDN provider Cloudflare to distinguish humans from bots, protect against malicious traffic and keep the site reliable. They last up to 30 minutes.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — our forms are protected by a human-verification challenge. Turnstile does not serve advertising and does not build cross-site profiles.

Blocking these cookies will break core functionality such as logging in or completing protected forms.

Functional

These cookies remember choices that make the site easier to use:

  • Language preference (INTLAYER_LOCALE) — remembers whether you prefer English or Chinese. Lasts 12 months.
  • Theme preference — your light/dark choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.

If you block these, the site still works — you may just need to set your language again.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — for example which pages are viewed, how long visits last, device type, and approximate region. It sets cookies such as:

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors, lasts up to 2 years.
  • _gid — distinguishes visitors for 24 hours.

The data is aggregated and used only to improve the product. Google may also process this data on our behalf under its own terms — see Google's Privacy Policy.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you open a checkout, Stripe may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or ask for consent before storing them.

  • Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break signing in and protected forms.
  • Blocking analytics cookies stops usage measurement but keeps all features working.
  • You can also opt out of Google Analytics using your browser's cookie settings or Google's published opt-out tools.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when we add or remove technologies. Material changes will be announced on this page.
